Greenrock IMPACT has a mission to build stronger, healthier and environmentally sustainable communities across the City of Toronto, which is exemplified through its support of local charities. Greenrock IMPACT empowers our residents, tenants and employees to truly make a difference, through local impactful initiatives.

Greenrock is a proud supporter of Stella's Place, which received a $20,000 donation after Greenrock residents voted it as one of the top five charities most deserving to receive a 20% portion of $100,000 for the 2018 IMPACT Holiday Donation.

Stella's Places offers an informal, approachable and casual environment that invites community members to feel safe and empowered in managing their own health. Stella's Place offers a safe and discreet space for young adults who are experiencing mental health challenges by providing a menu of services at their cafe. Such services include peer support, clinical, online, employment, wellness and recovery services.

"The donation will enable our 'year of peer support', it will allow young people who require our services to access peer support workers and participate in studio excursions. This gift is so meaningful to myself and others who walk through our doors."- Jenny Carver, Executive Director

With Greenrock's 2019 IMPACT initiatives underway, our residents voice is more important than ever, deciding which five charities will receive a portion of $125,000 as part of this year's 2019 IMPACT donation.  An additional $10,000 will be donated to one charity nominated by our Commercial tenants as part of the 2019 IMPACT donation.
