Caroline began her career in property management as a leasing specialist with Greenwin in 1989 and has since evolved into the seasoned manager she is today. Caroline proves that a strong work ethic can really pay off—she has steadily climbed the Greenrock ladder from Office Manager, Property Manager, to now Regional Manager. Caroline leads our staff to new heights every day, always encouraging them to deliver an exceptional experience for residents. 

Rocco has been with Greenrock since the very beginning. With over 25 years of property management experience, Rocco has an extensive wealth of knowledge. His friendly attitude, strong character, and prognostic approach make him respected by his colleagues and trusted by residents. He is proficient in grievance resolution, ensuring reasonable enjoyment for everyone who calls Greenrock home. He is a Toronto native and likes going for walks and biking outside of work.

Kevin Malek joined Greenrock in 2016 as a summer intern while finishing his Bachelor of Arts/Commerce at The University of Western Ontario. He now leads a team of ten that oversees more than 700 apartment units at Village Green. Kevin is a member of the Real Estate Institute of Canada (REIC) and the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM). He currently holds the Accredited Residential Manager designation and is working towards achieving the Certified Property Management (CPM) designation with REIC. The Toronto native is a devout sports fan and enjoys unwinding in the evenings with a few rounds of poker.

Draga has a wealth of knowledge in the property management industry with over 20 years of experience. She does a stellar job making sure residents have the best possible experience living at Village Green and is always ready to step up and be of service. Originally from Bosnia (former Yugoslavia), Draga enjoys hiking, knitting, and watching animal shows.

Tara joined Greenrock in the spring of 2019 and has 16 years of experience in the property management industry. Toronto born and raised, Tara graduated from York University and is best known for her bubbly personality. On the weekends, she can be found reeling in the catch of the week on her fishing line or pruning her garden. 

Spomenka has over 26 years of property management experience. She first started off as a cleaner and slowly transitioned to the leasing side of operations gaining a great deal of knowledge along the way. She is a fantastic role model to others in the industry with her passion and desire to learn. Originally from Bosnia (former Yugoslavia), she loves to hike, garden, and play with her grandson outside of work. 

Alex joined Greenrock in 2021 and has over 4 years of experience in residential leasing. He was born and raised in Toronto and graduated from Ryerson University with a Business Management (Bcomm) degree and Human Resource Management certificate. His favourite hobbies include cooking, biking, and volunteering at local charities.

Zulay embarked on her journey in property management in 2022, initially assuming the role of Office Administrator at Greenrock. Through her dedication and exemplary work ethic, she quickly proved herself to be an invaluable asset to the company. Recognizing her potential and aptitude for client relations, Zulay transitioned to the leasing team as a Leasing Specialist. 

Born and raised in Colombia, Zulay brought with her a rich cultural background and fluency in both Spanish and English, as well as her customer service experience and educational background in International Business.

Dimitar first started as a superintendent at Village Green in 2017 and is now the community’s chief engineer, specializing in electronics troubleshooting, soldering, and repairs. With over 10 years experience, he has completed the CompTIA A+ certification in computer hardware troubleshooting and repairs, as well as Cisco’s CCENT course. Dimitar grew up in Rakitovo, a small town within the mountain of Bulgaria. After hours, you can find him tinkering with microchips or tuning into a Toronto Raptors game. 

Roy has over two decades of experience in the property management industry and studied Tourism and Hospitality in college. He is originally from Bosnia (former Yugoslavia) and enjoys staying active on the weekends with a full roster of outdoorsy hobbies including tennis, biking, hiking, and boating. His sense of humour and dedication to exceptional customer service make him an invaluable asset to the Davisville Village team.

Jerry is a long-time resident and team member at Greenrock’s Village Green community with over 20 years of property management experience. He has received training in both plumbing and electrical which have helped him excel in his role as a superintendent. Jerry was born in Newfoundland and moved to Toronto in 1971 with his family. Going to the racetrack to watch the horses is one of his favourite hobbies, on top of being an avid horror film watcher.

Roman joined Greenrock in the summer of 2018, bringing with him over 15 years of industry experience as a superintendent. He has extensive property management experience and at one point in his career, he oversaw the operations of 18 commercial and industrial buildings across the GTA. He studied property management at Humber College’s Institute of Housing Management (IHM) and holds a certificate in plumbing and electrical. Originally from Bulgaria, Roman loves to play tennis and jam out to his favourite songs.

Alexander joined the Greenrock team in 2016 and has over 8 years of experience in the industry. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in mass communication and a certificate in building maintenance. Alexander is originally from Qatar and the United Arab Emirates. His impressive work ethic scored him Resident Manager of the Year at the 2021 Canadian Federation of Apartment Association Awards. His hobbies including creating 3D models, riding his bike, and painting.

Kevin Blair has been a valuable member of the Greenrock team since the beginning with two decades of experience working as the Superintendent of 45 Balliol. When he's not lending a helping hand to his residents you can find him spending quality time with his friendly rescue companion, Frodo the dog.

Pedro has over 21 years of experience working in the property management industry. He was born in the Philippines and is a lover of music and movies. Pedro’s personable and attentive personality help him deliver a high level of customer service.

Sevastian has over a decade of experience in the property management industry and launched his career shortly after immigrating from Curtea de Arges, Romania. He graduated from Constantin Brâncoveanu University in Pitești, Romania with a bachelor's degree in Economics. Sevastian is a soccer fanatic and loves both playing and watching.

Kirk is a Superintendent at Greenrock's Village Green community with over 5 years of experience in the property management industry. He previously worked for the Region of Peel and Quadreal. Kirk was born and raised in the Philippines and studied Civil Engineering at the University of St. Thomas Aquinas. Outside of work, he enjoys working on his fitness at the gym, playing guitar, and singing.

Barbara joined Greenrock as CEO in 2021 and previously served on the Greenrock Board of Directors.

As Greenrock's CEO, Barbara is responsible for the oversight of all Greenrock divisions, including operations, family office, and Greenrock's philanthropic pursuits.

Barbara has over 20 years of progressive leadership and operational management experience with many of Canada's leading real estate owners and developers, including Skyline Group of Companies, Riocan REIT, Cadillac Fairview, and her role as President and co-founder of Arcturus Realty Corporation. Her track record in delivering success through innovative and collaborative solutions is supported by her commitment to developing and maintaining a corporate culture that fosters integrity and accountability.

Barbara holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the DeGroote School of Business at McMaster University and earned her ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors/Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto.

Barry has over 30 years of experience in the Canadian multi-family sector and is responsible for the oversight of Greenrock's Board of Directors. 

Barry co-created Greenrock's IMPACT program, which responds the vital real-time needs of residents and community members through a variety of annual initiatives, volunteer programs, and donations. With support from the Barry & Laurie Green Trust, Barry is deeply committed to reconciliation with Indigenous Peoples. Prior to founding Greenrock Property Management Limited, Barry worked at Greenwin Property Management for over 20 years, serving in different roles including CEO from 2003-2006.

Justin joined the Greenrock team in August of 2013. He brings with him over 25 years of senior management experience in construction, project management and property management and has held positions in the US, UK and Canada. Before joining Greenrock, Justin held the position of Director, Real Estate for The Bank of Nova Scotia where he was responsible for over 6MM square feet of commercial space in Canada, Central America, and the Caribbean.  Until its sale in 2012, Justin was also General Manager of Scotia Plaza, the two million square foot trophy tower in downtown Toronto. Prior to this Justin directed the Operations and Property Management for ResREIT a 12,000 suite Canadian REIT, after moving back to Canada from the UK in 2002.  While in the UK, Justin held the position of Managing Director for Tudor Caterers Limited, a hotel and restaurant, builder, owner and manager.

Leo leads a dynamic team in all accounting, finance, investment, and risk management activity. Leo brings more than 20 years of expertise in financial reporting and analysis, risk management, investment review and due diligence, debt and equity offerings, strategic planning and corporate governance.  Most recently, Leo was a partner at Ernst & Young in their Real Estate, Hospitality and Construction group where he serviced leading Canadian Real Estate Investment Trusts covering all asset classes, real estate advisory firms, and construction and infrastructure companies. Prior to joining Ernst & Young, Leo was a senior executive with a manufacturing concern. Leo is a graduate from the School of Accountancy at the University of Waterloo and is a Chartered Professional Accountant.

Swarna joined the Greenrock team in August 2014. With over 10 years of experience in the real estate industry at companies such as CAPREIT and Cherishome Living, Swarna has grown her portfolio in vast strides due to her contributions and knowledge of asset and property management finance. Swarna is a Chartered Professional Accountant and a Chartered Management Accountant with the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants in the United Kingdom. Swarna has an honours bachelor's degree in commerce from Laurentian University. In her spare time, Swarna is a yoga instructor and provides weekly yoga and meditation classes to her colleagues to promote wellness and a healthy lifestyle.

Masroor is an experienced finance executive with over 15 years of demonstrated expertise in financial reporting and accounting. He joined Greenrock in March 2022 from Bestbuy Distributors Limited where he worked as a Corporate Controller. Masroor graduated from Preston University with a Master of Business Administration and completed both his Chartered Professional Accountant and Chartered Management Accountant designations.
