Systems Support Business Analyst

The Greenrock Corporate Accounting, Finance and Investment team provides a center of excellence for services in the disciplines of accounting, treasury management, acquisition and disposition transactions, corporate tax, capital management, investment management, risk management, financial data applications and business solutions for the organization.


The Systems Support Business Analyst, is a newly created role, reporting to the CFO, to assist the Finance and Operations team with system support, system implementation, automation of processes and security control support. The System Support Business Analyst will also work closely with the IT department to ensure a high level of security governance.

Key Functions and Responsibilities:

• Provide support to Accounting, Family Office, and Operation Teams
• Support for systems implementations and upgrades
• Apply problem-solving skills to troubleshoot applications issues
• Research, analyze and resolve software functionality
• Perform data mapping, conversions and provide support when onboarding new properties
• Determine and document solutions and best practices to contribute to a solutions repository
• Use your strong interpersonal skills and positive attitude to establish rapport with all departments
• Evaluate security controls, access, and permissions
• Create new roles, groups and users based on new business requirements
• Test all new application development for effectiveness and controls before implementation
• Assist with creating customized reports for financial and operational review
• Key resource for all automation initiatives
• Ad hoc requests from Finance and Operations

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Prior experience working with ERP systems
• Knowledge of writing SQL queries for data analysis
• Experience with Yardi considered an asset
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritize effectively
• High comfort level troubleshooting and problem-solving issues
• Strong excel skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ambition and the desire to learn and continue to grow
• Flexibility, and the ability to manage changing priorities
• Previous experience in a system support role, business analyst role

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Math, or Computer Science
• 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
