Nothing beats the excitement of moving into your new home in a Greenrock community. On move-in day, you can expect to receive a warm and friendly welcome from our team and maybe even a wave or two from some fellow residents. To start your living experience off on the right foot, we recommend getting acquainted with your neighbours and following these simple do’s and don’ts:
Do pick up your doggy doo-doo
A great perk of living at Greenrock is that we welcome your pets with open arms. Our Village Green community even has an off-leash dog park exclusive to residents. But that doesn’t mean you should leave your pup’s ‘business’ behind. Please keep a stash of bags in your pocket so you can dispose of any waste and help keep the property clean for everyone’s enjoyment.
Don’t leave trash in the hallways or common areas
Our wonderful team of superintendents and cleaners do a superb job keeping our buildings spotless and well-maintained. To help us keep them that way, please toss any trash in the proper bins. If you accidentally spill something in the common areas, just let one of our team members know so we can lend a hand.
Do keep the noise down during quiet hours
Blasting music at 3 a.m. isn’t the best way to win over your neighbours. To prevent anyone’s sleep from getting disturbed, we ask that all residents keep noise levels down between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. which are Greenrock’s designated quiet hours.
Don’t hog the laundry machines
Forget to take your clothes out of the laundry machine? It happens to the best of us, but it might annoy other residents looking to squeeze in a load. Try setting a timer on your phone or hanging out in the common areas while you wait. All our laundry facilities are open 24/7 and have free Wi-Fi.
Do be mindful when watering plants
Overzealously watering your plants may give your neighbours on the balcony below a surprise shower. To avoid any embarrassing accidents, use a proper watering can with a spout to ensure your friends down under stay dry… and happy!
Don’t steal parking spaces
Having friends or family over? Invite them to park in our complimentary visitor parking or give them a guest parking pass to avoid any disputes if your neighbour’s spot gets taken by mistake.
Do continue to follow COVID precautions
Wearing face coverings and physical distancing is still strongly encouraged in the common areas of Greenrock buildings, such as the corridors, elevators, lobby, etc., for the comfort of your neighbours and their families. If the elevator is full, we recommend waiting until the next one instead of crowding on to avoid making anyone feel uneasy.
Following these tips will help make your living experience –and your neighbours’—the best it can be. To view the latest updates and announcements for your Greenrock community, make sure to sign up for a Greenrock Resident Access Service Portal (GRASP) account.
