The Greenrock Charitable Trust, The Latners Foundation and PostMedia Place granted $10,000 to be donated on behalf of the tenants at 365 Bloor this holiday season.
With the help of the Greenrock IMPACT team, it was decided the 2018 holiday initiative would be a survey for the tenants to cast their vote from a list of 13 local charities that are involved in the communities in which we operate. With over 250 responses, the Redwood was voted as the top choice by the tenants.
The Redwood provides programs and services to support women and children to live and thrive without abuse, homelessness and poverty. They work for social change through learning, collaboration and advocacy.
At yesterday's Tenant Appreciation Holiday Breakfast, in the lobby of 365 Bloor, a donation of $10,000 was accepted by Natasha Hoyte on behalf of The Redwood. Please click this link to see an article that was posted in The Sun today.
